Monday Night Movie Moved to Second Monday of the Month

WALLA and Friends will present the movie, The Conspirator on Monday, September 12, at 6:45 p.m. at the West Lafayette Public Library. In The Conspirator (2010), director Robert Redford presents the nineteenth-century military trial that held a dazed and grieving nation spellbound for well over a month. The trial in question was that of Mary Surratt, the only woman accused of participating in the plot to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln.

As always, the movie is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Please note the September 12 date which is consistent with WALLA and Friends new format of movies on the second Monday of the month.

  1. Please note that beginning in September 2011, WALLA-Friends of the Library Film Series will be on the SECOND MONDAY of the month, instead of the first Monday. Joe Krause, Programming Committee
