WALLA Classes and Curriculum Opportunity

We will soon be entering the last week of the Fall 2014 WALLA class session.  We have received a warm welcome from our new temporary home, St Andrew United Methodist Church.  We also reached a new fall high for number of participants.
There is much behind the scenes planning for the classes and programs that WALLA hosts. Please consider joining a committee or perhaps coordinating or presenting a future class.  Any board member listed on the home page will be happy to help you get involved.   Note that there is a curriculum meeting scheduled for November 18, 2014 at the WALLA office at Morton Center at 1:30 PM.  During this meeting, Spring 2015 classes will be addressed.

Focus Group to Meet

The WALLA Focus Group will meet onWednesday September 10 in the John Purdue room at the MCL Cafeteria from 9:00AM to noon.  Please note that this is the first time we have met at that location.  This is an important meeting at which ideas for courses, presenters, coordinators and trips for future classes are suggested and debated. The participants break into groups and discuss ideas in different areas of interest to the WALLA audience. The groups’ ideas are then summarized and transmitted to the Curriculum Committee
