Annual Meeting

The WALLA Annual Meeting will be held at the Trails, 325 Burnett Road in West Lafayette on April 25 at 11:00.  The guest speaker will be Bess Witkosky, Director of Morton Community Center.
Reservations can be made by mailing a check for $17. a person to Gail Beck, 1010 N. Grant, West Lafayette.

2014 WALLA Annual Meeting and Luncheon

Friday, April 25 from 11-2 will be WALLA's Annual Meeting to be held at The Trails, 325 Burnett Rd., West Lafayette. Classes Have Begun

As classes near the half way point, we hope everyone is learning new things and enjoying the social aspects of WALLA.  Remember the second luncheon, April 9 at 11:45 will feature the program, "Recruiting business to Purdue Research Park, presented by Jan Mills.  Register by April 9 by calling Gail Beck or contacting the WALLA office.

Photo Exhibit

Sunday February 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm join fellow WALLA members and enjoy photographer Dwayne Daehler's Photo Journal of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in the West Lafayette Public Library meeting rooms.  This program is free and open to the public.

Spring Classes to be Announced

The class schedule for WALLA'S Spring Session, (March 24-April 17) will be announced on February 13 at the annual pizza party.  Hear all about the classes at the annual WALLA Pizza Party at 11:45 at Burtsfield Gym.   To register, call the WALLA office or see the registration form on this website.  Directions to Burtsfield are also posted on the front page of the website.

Chili Cook-Off with Discussion

How can WALLA be improved?
If you would like to be part of this discussion, enjoy free chili, and decide whose chili is the best, this event is to take place on January 23 from 10 until 2 in the Morton Multi-Purpose Room.   Call the WALLA office by Jan 17, if you would like to attend.

See You at the Movies

December 9 at 6:45 at the West Lafayette Library, WALLA and Friends will present the film, Millions.  It is rated PG13 and was produced in 2004.  It is the story of a seven year old boy who finds a bag of pounds days before the country switches to Euros.   As always, the movie and popcorn are free and the public is welcome.
